They agreed on expanding direct flights, simplifying visa rules, and supporting the resumption of the Kailash Manasarovar Yatra. On the economic front, Modi and Xi recognized that India and China play a crucial role in stabilizing world trade. They emphasized reducing the trade deficit and expanding investment opportunities. Prime Minister Modi emphasized that India and China both value strategic autonomy and should not allow their relations to be influenced by third countries. Additionally, Modi met Mr. Cai Qi, Member of the Standing Committee of the Politburo of the Communist Party of China, furthering political engagement between the two nations.
