PM Modi Performs Last Rites to his Mother Heeraben Updates : The mortal remains of Prime Minister Modi’s mother, Heeraben, were taken to the crematorium for her last rites. Prime Minister Modi reached the residence of his younger brother Pankaj Modi for the last rites of his late mother on Friday morning.

Prime Minister Modi’s mother, Heeraben Modi, passed away at the U.N. Mehta hospital in Ahmedabad Friday morning.

The Prime Minister flew down early in the morning from Delhi and paid floral tributes to his mother. PM Modi and his elder brother, Somabhai, gave the agnidah to the mortal remains of mother Heeraben. Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has offered condolences after PM Narendra Modi’s mother Heeraben passed away. Akshya Kumar Twitted, “There is no greater sorrow than losing a mother. May god give you the strength to bear this sorrow @narendramodi ji. Om Shanti.”

Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren and BJP national vice president Raghubar Das condoled the demise of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother Hiraben Modi on Friday.

Actor Ajay Devgn has offered his condolences on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother Heeraben passed away. He tweeted, “My heartfelt condolences on the passing of Smt. Heeraben Modi. A simple, principled lady, she raised a fine son in our PM Shri Narendra Modiji. Om Shanti. My personal condolences to our PM and his family.”

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan condoled the demise of Hiraben Modi, mother of Narendra Modi on Friday, on behalf of the people of the state and described her as the “guiding force” behind the Prime Minister. Recalling her as a “noble person”, Vijayan said he was deeply saddened to hear about her passing.

West Bengal Mamata Banerjee told PM Modi who was virtually attending the event, “Respected PM, today it’s a sad day and a great loss to you. I pray to god, may god give you strength. I convey my gratitude to you that you were supposed to come to West Bengal but because of the demise of your mother you couldn’t come but join virtually.”

Union Surface and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari paying tributes said in his tweet, “May his soul rest in peace, and I pray to god to give strength to the family to endure the pain.”

Congress party’s president Mallikarjun Kharge tribute to Heeraben by saying, “Deeply saddened to hear about the demise of Heeraben Modi. My heartfelt condolences to Narendra Modi on the loss of his beloved mother. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family in this hour of grief.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, paying condolences, has said, “For any son’s mother in the entire world, mother’s demise is unbearable for any son, I am sad to hear the news.”
