Rourkela-Bhubaneswar–Puri Vande Bharat Express PM to Flag Off on 24th September

Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will flag off Rourkela-Bhubaneswar–Puri Vande Bharat Express, on 24th September along with eight other Vande Bharat trains at 12:30 PM via video conferencing.

These nine trains will boost connectivity across eleven states like as Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Bihar, West Bengal, Kerala, Odisha, Jharkhand and Gujarat.

These new Vande Bharat trains are a step in the direction of the Prime Minister’s goal of enhancing national connectivity and offering top-notch amenities to rail travelers.

These Vande Bharat trains will be the fastest train along the routes of their operation and will help save time of the passengers. As compared to the current fastest train along the route, Rourkela- Bhubaneswar – Puri Vande Bharat Express and Kasaragod – Thiruvananthapuram Vande Bharat Express will be faster by about 3 hours.

Also, Hyderabad – Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express by more than two and half hours; Tirunelveli-Madurai- Chennai Vande Bharat Express by more than two hours; Ranchi – Howrah Vande Bharat Express, Patna – Howrah Vande Bharat Express and Jamnagar-Ahmedabad Vande Bharat Express by about one hour; and Udaipur – Jaipur Vande Bharat Express by about 30 minutes.

The Rourkela-Bhubaneswar–Puri Vande Bharat Express and the Tirunelveli-Madurai-Chennai Vande Bharat Express would connect Puri and Madurai, two significant religious towns, in accordance with the Prime Minister’s aim to increase connectivity of key religious locations across the country.

Additionally, the Renigunta route will be used by the Vijayawada to Chennai Vande Bharat Express, which will connect travelers to the Tirupati Pilgrimage Center.

A new level of rail service in the nation would be introduced with the introduction of these Vande Bharat trains. These trains will be a crucial step in offering common people, professionals, businesspeople, the student population, and tourists with contemporary, quick, and comfortable means of transportation.
