Bhubaneswar: Direct flight services between Bhubaneswar and Bangkok will resume from October 2, providing passengers with a direct international air connection between Odisha’s capital and Thailand’s capital.

Bhubaneswar Airport Director Prasanna Pradhan confirmed the resumption of the service.
Bhubaneswar Bangkok Flight Service to Resume
The direct Bhubaneswar-Bangkok service had been suspended because of concerns over passenger demand. With the tourism season beginning in October, the airline has decided to restart the service.
The twice-weekly operation will give passengers from Odisha a more convenient option for travelling directly to Bangkok without requiring a connecting flight.
The service may also benefit travellers from neighbouring regions who use Bhubaneswar as their international air gateway.
Direct Flight to Support Odisha’s International Connectivity
The return of the Bhubaneswar Bangkok flight is expected to strengthen Odisha’s international air connectivity.
Bangkok is an important destination for tourism and international travel, and direct connectivity can make journeys easier for passengers travelling between Odisha and Thailand.
The resumption also comes at the start of the tourism season, when demand for international travel is expected to increase.
Bangkok Connectivity to Benefit Odisha Travellers
Passengers from Odisha will have access to a direct air route to Bangkok from Biju Patnaik International Airport. The twice-weekly service is expected to provide greater convenience for tourists and other international travellers.
The resumption of the route also strengthens Bhubaneswar’s position as an international aviation hub for Odisha and surrounding areas.
With the service scheduled to restart on October 2, travellers will once again have a direct connection between Bhubaneswar and Bangkok for the upcoming travel season.
