Nepal plane Crash Latest Updates: The Yeti Airlines plane carrying 68 passengers and 4 crew members crashed in Nepal’s Pokhara on Sunday, Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia expressed deep concern and grief over the unfortunate incident.

The minister tweeted: ā€œThe loss of life in the tragic plane crash in Nepal is extremely unfortunate. My thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families. Om Shantiā€.

At least 32 people died when a passenger plane crashed in the Pokhara area of ā€‹ā€‹Nepal’s Kaski district. Senior District Officer Tek Bahadur K.C. confirmed that the bodies of 30 passengers have been found so far.

A Nepalese military spokesman said they expected to find more bodies and the plane had broken into pieces. A Yeti Airlines ATR 72 aircraft carrying 72 people including four crew members crashed in Pokhara at 11 am today. The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) said the plane took off from Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport at 10:33 a.m. and crashed on the banks of the Seti River near the Pokhara airport.

According to the news agency, Nepali Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal called an emergency cabinet meeting and directed the home ministry, security personnel, and all government agencies to carry out effective rescue operations.
