Nandini Gupta, 19, was crowned Miss India at a gala event in Imphal, Manipur. Shreya Poonja of Delhi was named first runner-up, and Thounaojam Strela Luwang of Manipur was named second runner-up.

Nandini demonstrated exceptional hospitality abilities as a child and has been determined to win the Miss India beauty competition since she was ten years old. She is a model as well as a student.
