Mahima Gosain Express Time Table: Now Train No. 20832/20831 Sambalpur-Shalimar-Sambalpur Tri-weekly Express (via – Angul, Talcher) has been renamed as ‘Mahima Gosain Express’. After the approval of Minister for Railways, Communications and Electronics and Information Technology, Ashwini Vaishnaw.
Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister for Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, during the foundation laying ceremony of the redevelopment of Bhubaneswar railway station on 29 December 2022, urged the Railway Minister to rename the Sambalpur-Shalimar-Sambalpur tri-weekly express as Mahima Gosain Express.
Considering the sentiments and faith of people at the Mahima shrine, the Ministry of Railways has renamed the Sambalpur-Shalimar-Sambalpur tri-weekly express as ‘Mahima Gosain Express’.
“During the launching of the Sambalpur-Shalimar Express on December 29, 2022, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan urged the Ministry of Railways to rename the train as Mahima Gosain Express. The Ministry has approved the proposal,” Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said on Twitter.
Meanwhile, Dharmendra Pradhan thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwin Vaishnaw for accepting his proposal to rename the train as Mahima Gosain Expess.
“I urged the railway minister to rename Sambalpur-Shalimar Express as Mahima Gosain Express. The minister accepted my proposal. The Ministry of Railways formally renamed the train. This strengthened our respect for poet Bhima Bhoi and the cult of Mahima,” Pradhan said in a series of Twitter posts.
Mahima Gosain Express Time Table : Sambalpur-Shalimar Express
- Now the train No.20832/20831 Sambalpur-Shalimar-Sambalpur Tri-Weekly Express (Mahima Gosain Express) via Talcher and Bhadrak will leave Sambalpur every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday from January 3 at 7.10 pm.
- Also, the train will leave from Shalimar at 9.25 pm, every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from January 4 onwards.
