NEW DELHI: The Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on NEET paper leak statement underscored the Centre’s defence of its handling of the examination controversy. Speaking in an interview, She said the government had responded quickly to allegations of paper leaks by initiating arrests, conducting re-examinations and announcing measures to ensure faster justice.
Her remarks come as the issue continues to dominate political debate and public discussion. The government has sought to reassure students that preserving the integrity of competitive examinations remains a top priority.
Nirmala Sitharaman on NEET Paper Leak Highlights Government Action
Sitharaman said Prime Minister Narendra Modi had already assured strict action against everyone involved in compromising the examination process. She noted that the proposed establishment of fast-track courts is intended to ensure speedy trials and reinforce public confidence in the system.
