The President addressed the Purple Fest event at Rashtrapati Bhavan this evening, stating that compassion, inclusivity, and peace are values of Indian culture and civilization.

The president stated that the Constitution’s preamble addresses social justice, equality of position, and individual dignity. Today, the president attended the festival and observed Divyangjan’s cultural acts.

The inaugural session of the event was presided over by Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment, Dr. Virendra Kumar. The festival’s primary goal is to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.
