New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday offered a heartfelt Mahatma Gandhi death anniversary tribute, remembering the Father of the Nation’s timeless ideals and his strong emphasis on Swadeshi.

Modi said Gandhi’s values continue to guide India’s journey toward becoming a developed and self-reliant nation.

In a post on X, the Prime Minister wrote that his salutations to Mahatma Gandhi were rooted in deep respect for Bapu’s vision.

Modi highlighted that Gandhi’s insistence on Swadeshi remains a foundational pillar of India’s resolve for a “Viksit” and “Aatmanirbhar” Bharat.

He added that Gandhi’s life and achievements will forever inspire citizens to follow the path of duty and service. The Prime Minister posted on X:

Amit Shah Remembers Gandhi’s Role in Uniting India

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also paid tribute, stating that Gandhi’s ideas will continue to inspire generations.

Shah said Mahatma Gandhi brought together a nation divided by language, caste and region, giving new strength and breadth to India’s freedom movement.

He noted that Gandhi’s philosophy linked Swadeshi, independence and cleanliness in envisioning a strong and glorious India.
