Swaraj Serial: DD National to be telecast on Saturday and Sunday

New Delhi: DD National will telecast the Swaraj serial in binge mode on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 February 2023 from 1.00 PM onwards.

‘Swaraj – Bharat Ke Swatantrata Sangram Ki Samagra Gatha’ is a mega show of 75 episodes illustrating the glorious history of India’s freedom struggle since the 15th century when Vasco-Da-Gama landed in India. The series shows several aspects of Indian history, presenting the lives and sacrifices of lesser-known heroes of the freedom struggle.

The Swaraj series was launched on 5 August 2022 by Union Minister for Home and Cooperation Shri Amit Shah in the presence of Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shri Anurag Singh Thakur and Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Dr. L. Murugan.

The telecast of the series began on 14 August 2022 in Hindi on DD National and subsequently in nine regional languages ​​like Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Odia and Assamese on the regional network Doordarshan.

Every new episode of Swaraj in Hindi airs on Sundays at 9.00 AM and 9.00 PM on DD National and repeats on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 1.00 PM and Saturdays at 9.00 PM.

The audio version is broadcast on the All India Radio network from 11 am on Saturday.
