Honeymoon Murder Case: A Meghalaya court on Saturday (June 21, 2025) sent Sonam Raghuvanshi and her alleged boyfriend Raj to 13-day judicial custody in connection with the murder of Indore-based businessman Raja Raghuvanshi.

The couple had reportedly gone missing during their honeymoon in the Sohra region of Meghalaya on May 23. Tragically, Raja’s highly decomposed body was discovered in a deep gorge on June 2.

Following the end of their police custody on Saturday, the special investigation team (SIT) chose not to seek further extension. Assistant Public Prosecutor Tushar Chanda confirmed that both accused were sent to judicial custody for 13 days.
