Balasore accident: Passenger bus crashes into truck, 30 critically injured

Jaleswar: A private bus crashed into the back of a coal laden truck near Junbalda late last night, leading to critical injuries for at least 30 passengers. This incident took place under the Basta police limits in Odisha’s Balasore district.

The Balasore accident occurred on the National Highway 60, as the bus was on its way from Bhubaneswar to Kolkata.

According to the sources, the bus was operated by Das & Das. It was carrying more than 50 passengers at the time of accident. The Balasore accident resulted in major damage to the front section of the bus.

All the injured passengers were immediately rushed to the Balasore District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) for medical care and treatment. The local police have launched an investigation into the incident to determine the cause of the mishap.
