PM Modi on Operation Sindoor: India Will Respond Decisively to Any Threat to Sovereignty
Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted that Operation Sindoor has sent a strong and unmistakable message to the world: India will respond decisively to any act that threatens its sovereignty. Speaking at a commemoration event for the birth anniversary of the legendary Chola emperor Rajendra Chola-I, PM Modi highlighted the strategic significance and national impact of the military operation.
Operation Sindoor Strengthened India’s Self-Confidence
The Prime Minister emphasized that the successful execution of Operation Sindoor has ignited a renewed sense of self-confidence among Indian citizens. He noted that the operation showcased India’s resolute military capabilities and demonstrated that no safe havens exist for terrorists or enemies attempting to undermine the nation’s security.
Clear Warning to the World
PM Modi underlined that Operation Sindoor has clearly established India’s zero-tolerance approach towards terrorism and hostile threats. “This operation has proven that any attempt to harm India’s sovereignty will be met with a firm and powerful response,” he said.
Tribute to the Chola Empire’s Legacy
During the same address, the Prime Minister announced the installation of grand statues of Rajaraja Chola and Rajendra Chola-I in Tamil Nadu to honour their historical contributions. Modi lauded the Chola dynasty for its golden age of governance, architecture, trade, and cultural diplomacy, noting their successful relations with Sri Lanka, the Maldives, and Southeast Asian nations.
Tamil Nadu’s Cultural Pride Recognized
PM Modi also praised Tamil Nadu’s deep-rooted Shaivite heritage, stating that over 30 stolen artefacts recovered by the Indian government from abroad belong to the state. He stressed the Centre’s commitment to protecting and restoring India’s cultural heritage.
