Divya Deshmukh Beats Humpy in All-Indian Final

The final showdown in Georgia saw two of India’s top women players—Divya Deshmukh and Koneru Humpy—locked in a fierce battle. The classical games ended in draws, pushing the match into rapid tiebreaks.
After the first rapid game ended in a draw, Divya emerged victorious in the second rapid game, playing with the Black pieces, and sealed the World Cup title.
