Grand Ceremony Showcases Congress Unity

The event witnessed the presence of chief ministers from Congress-ruled states, senior party office-bearers and leaders from across the country.

Religious heads from different communities, representatives of farmers, labourers, women’s groups, civic workers and pro-Kannada organisations also attended the ceremony.

Students from Shivakumar’s native village of Doddaalahalli in Kanakapura were among the special invitees, adding a personal touch to the occasion.

With Shivakumar now at the helm, political observers will closely watch how the new administration balances governance, development priorities and internal party expectations in the coming years.
