Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Wednesday confirmed that the recent flood situation in the state is under control, with rapid relief measures underway across the affected regions. Speaking to the media alongside Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari and Higher Education Minister Suraj Suryabanshi, the CM emphasized that water levels in key rivers including Subarnarekha and Jalaka are receding steadily. “Collectors have been instructed to submit flood damage reports immediately. Relief and compensation will be provided promptly based on these assessments,” Majhi stated.
