India is destined to become a developed country by 2047, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan at IIT Palakkad

Union Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan today said that India is destined to become a developed country by 2047, and every citizen has a role to play in achieving this goal. He was speaking at the 7th convocation ceremony of IIT Palakkad in Kerala.

The Minister urged the students to take the lead in building world-class infrastructure across various sectors, including transport, housing, medical facilities, and agriculture. Highlighting India’s growing presence in the global digital space, Mr. Pradhan said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi envisions an inclusive and ethical digital public infrastructure across the country.

He also emphasised the need for technological self-reliance and the importance of modern technology in agriculture. A total of 328 students received their certificates from the Minister during the ceremony. Mr. Pradhan said that IIT Palakkad is on the right path and is committed to contributing towards the vision of Viksit Bharat.
