Mahalaya 2022 Today: PM greets people on Mahalaya
Mahalaya 2022 Today: Mahalaya is celebrated in India by the devotees of Maa Durga. It is started a week before the Durga Puja celebrations begin all over the country. Mahalaya 2022 is observed on the last day of Pitru Paksha. Mahalaya, therefore, means the arrival of Goddess Durga.
The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has greeted the people on the occasion of Mahalaya. In a tweet, the Prime Minister said; “On Mahalaya, we pray to Maa Durga and seek her divine blessings for our people. May everyone be happy and healthy. May there be prosperity and brotherhood all around. Shubho Mahalaya!”
