Dharmendra Pradhan appoints in-charge of elections in Karnataka

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party – BJP has appointed Union Minister Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan in-charge of the upcoming assembly elections in Karnataka.

BJP also named Tamil Nadu state president K. Annamalai as a co-accused. Dharmendra Pradhan worked as Karnataka chief during the tenure of former Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa in year 2008.

Having been a Karnataka Cadre IPS officer, Annamalai has a good knowledge of the state. He provided services all over the state and gained a good name among the public. People demanded his appointment and protested against his transfers in the state.

Notably, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan has worked as an election in-charge in Uttar Pradesh and other states. Both the leaders are very much aware of the ground reality of the state and know the pulse of the party workers well.

In order to return to power in the state, the saffron party wants to fight for a Hindutva agenda. The leaders announced that they will seek votes in Karnataka on behalf of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. With the elections to be held in less than two months, the political parties have already sounded the polls in the state. The big parties have already started the campaign.

The BJP is leaving no stone unturned and pulling out all the stops as Prime Minister Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath are scheduled to visit the state frequently in the coming days.
