CM Naveen Patnaik Approves Rs 296 Crore For Two Instream Storage Structures In Bolangir

Bolangir: CM Naveen Patnaik has approved two instream storage structures for Bolangir district and sanctioned Rs 296 crore for two projects.

The Sikuan/Siletkani instream storage structure project on the Sunagad River and the Kutasingha instream storage structure project on the Anga River are the two of these projects.

The Sikuan project has been approved for Rs 49 crore by the Chief Minister, while the Kutasingha project has been approved for Rs 247.50 crore.

On the Chief Minister’s orders, it is noteworthy that 5T Chairman V.K. Pandian visited the Bolangir area and took suggestions for various projects from the general people. These two initiatives have the Chief Minister’s approval based on public suggestions.

The residents of the four blocks will gain from this. Projects including drinking water, fish farming, animal husbandry, etc., will be very beneficial in addition to the rise in groundwater levels. The Kutasingha project will benefit the residents of the Dunguripalli and Agalpur blocks, while the Sikuan project will benefit the people of the Deogaon and Bolangir blocks.
